From Wine Country to Wilderness - Tasting all the way



But first our last look at the first and last word in Adventure Tourism, the Bungee bridge where it all began for AJ Hackett just outside of Queenstown.
This jump is basically for beginners, our guide assured us that if pensioners offered to jump in the nude in order to avail themselves of a free jump, the company more recently is offering cash incentives for us NOT TO JUMP!
But there was no time to check out the veracity of her claim as we had made it there before the staff and had to content outselves with imagining leaping from a height of

Passing through the stone fruit area of Cromwell, we make it to Northburn Station in time for a morning wine tasting.

Then check out another few lakes on the way with a quck stop in Wanaka.


Slowly we move towards the wilderness area of the West Coast.
We were lucky enough to enter into this wet wonder land on a sunny day, something that happens once in a blue moon!

In time to see Mt Cook from the West Coast and a glimpse of the Southern Alps.
